Garlic Butter Scones



这咸香味的scones是我的新宠儿,喜欢极了哦。。。。




Recipe mostly adapted from :My Baking Cottage

Ingredient:
250g Bread Flour
30g Brown Sugar
5g Baking Powder
5g Salt
60g Cold Garlic Butter (Brand: Kerry Gold)
135g Whipping Cream
17g Honey
30g Whole Eggs

2 tsp Dried Mixed Herbs
40g Chopped Garlic

Method:
• Preheat oven to 190C
• Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl (Excluding herbs n garlic)
• Rub in the cubed cold butter into the dry ingredients till it looks like crumbs
• Add in whipping cream, honey and eggs
• Mix till just combined
• Add in dried mixed herbs and chopped garlic
• Pour dough onto slightly floured table, lightly flatten to 1-1.5 inch in height
• Cut out to your desired shape
• Lightly brush with egg wash and bake for 13-16 minutes till golden brown
• Serve warm
