Mrs NgSK's Butter Cakes

我们经常抱怨,却忽略了感谢。
为什么我们经常得在来不及时,才懂得去珍惜那些一直以来被我们看作理所当然的事?
挑出错误,为何我们总是觉得那么容易?
而表达我们对某些人或某些事的感激,为何我们总是觉得那么困难?

所以我要大大声说:
我非常爱这款牛油蛋糕,感谢原创者Mrs NgSK和Wendy (Table for 2... or more)无私的分享!

Ingredients:
230gm butter (salted), softened
200gm eggs, no shell (I used 4 nos)
50gm + 100gm sugar (I reduced this portion as original called for 150gm)
200gm self raising flour, sifted.
60ml milk
1½ tsp vanilla bean paste

Method:
1.    Preheat oven at 170C. Prepare a 8 inch square pan. Line the base and grease the sides (greasing
       helps the cake’s sides to rise well).
2.    Separate the eggs, and place the whites into a bowl. Beat egg whites until soft peaks, gradually
       add 50gm sugar and beat until stiff. Set aside.
3.    Cream butter + 100gm sugar until pale and fluffy. Put in vanilla bean paste together with egg
       yolks one by one and beat well after each addition.
4.    Put in half the flour and mix on low speed until incorporated. Put in milk in 2 additions and mix
       until well incorporated. Mix in balance of flour.
5.    Put half the egg whites in and mix on low speed. Pour the balance of egg whites in and FOLD.
       Pour batter into pan and level.
6.    Bake for 45 min or until skewer comes out clean.

第一次做的成品,因烘炉火候掌握得不是很好,
so蛋糕底部有点湿湿的, but还是很好吃哦 !^o* !

  9. Irene, the rose petal jam so ex, wow one spoon can be a few bucks, like eat gold hahaha... I love this butter cake too, now craving to eat some but I know I am too late to ask from you lol.
